The goal of this application is to offer an online mechanism for applying and managing phone insurances services. It is designed to cover three areas: end customer, dealers and administration.

The end customer area allows the end customer to obtain online an quote based on his phone type and the insurance products already defined in administration area and to continue by purchasing an application. After the application becomes active they were able to generate different types of claims.

The dealer section is designed to allow the partner phone dealers and subdealers to sell also the insurance products. They have the possibility to add their customers one by one through the web site section or automatically, based on a web service interface which is able to receive data from their internal system.

The administration area is supposed to assure the management for supported phone types and models, the insurance products, the customers and their operations, the dealers and their operations.

As an bonus to insurance products the system allows to their customers to use the phone data sync and backup system developed on the funambol platform (contacts, calendar, vcards).

All the notifications to the customers are sent in two formats: email and sms.
