DUK Tech - €1.7 million contract for AI platforms dedicated to medical imaging
European Project
DUK Tech has signed a contract with the North-East Regional Development Agency, with a total value of approximately
€1.7 million,
of which €1.2 million represents non-reimbursable funding.
The project will be implemented over four years and focuses on developing
two innovative software platforms:
one for the
diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease
and another for
monitoring vascular and cerebral conditions.
Entitled
“Development of a Decision Support Platform for the Diagnosis of Arteriopathies, Based on Big Data, Machine Learning and Image Processing - ARTCADE”
, the project is part of our long-term strategy to integrate
Artificial Intelligence
and
Big Data
into medical processes.
Its main objectives are
to increase the accuracy and speed of diagnosis
, reduce the costs associated with interventions and improve the accessibility and efficiency of healthcare services.
The platforms will provide doctors with
advanced analysis and decision-support tools
, thus contributing to the digital transformation of the healthcare system and improving patients’ quality of life.
The project is carried out in
partnership
with the
Faculty of Computer Science, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași - Department of Machine Learning
, and in collaboration with
radiologists and neurologists
, to ensure clinical relevance and practical applicability of the solutions developed.
This initiative marks an essential step in
DUK Tech’s strategy to integrate AI technologies
into the medical field
and to support the digital transformation of healthcare.
